Description:	Conventional digital reverbs and impulse response convolution methods often fail to capture the living essence of a spring tank. They provide a static snapshot of a dynamic physical process. A real spring is a metal elastic body where multiple wave modes coexist and constantly interact. When an electrical signal enters the tank, the input transducer excites two distinct types of waves. The longitudinal pressure wave travels rapidly along the wire, establishing the immediate transient attack. Simultaneously, the torsional wave twists along the structure at a slower velocity, generating the lingering metallic tail. These waves do not exist in isolation. They scatter and convert into one another at the physical boundaries of the spring, creating a mathematically complex feedback loop.
